Kerbside Pride School

Kids recyclingWe can help your school to reduce waste to landfill with our Kerbside Pride Schools program. The program is free of charge and is a great way for your students to play an active part in reducing negative impacts on our environment.

By participating in the program, your school will receive:

  • Educational presentations and activities: One of our Project Officers can present to your students and staff about waste minimisation. Presentations include activities for the kids to learn what can and cannot be recycled in your area.
  • Assistance in minimising waste and increasing recycling: We will help your school reduce, reuse and recycle, so that your school can save money, help the environment and set an example in the community. To assist you with this process we will provide you with a go-to person to help you every step of the way.

We will also provide you with:

  • Weatherproof bin stickers to label your waste and recycle bins,
  • Educational tools and resources.

Be rewarded for your efforts! Your students and staff will be rewarded for your ongoing efforts through Kerbside Pride Schools with bronze, silver or gold certification. This is a great motivator to keep up the great work, but is also a fantastic way to show that your school is an environmental leader in the community.
